About SaaSGulf

SaaSGulf is an independent editorial project helping companies in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and the wider GCC choose CRM and business software with confidence. We focus on the questions global vendor sites ignore: Is this tool compliant with Saudi PDPL? Where does the data physically live? What does it actually cost in SAR or AED once VAT is added?

Our review methodology

1. Compliance verification: Data residency and privacy claims are checked against the vendor's own trust center, documentation, and public cloud region lists. We link or screenshot the source. If we cannot verify a claim, we say so.
2. Hands-on testing: We sign up for trials and test the product ourselves, with particular attention to Arabic/RTL interface support and regional integrations (e.g. WhatsApp and SMS providers popular in the Gulf).
3. Local pricing math: USD list prices are converted to SAR (pegged at 3.75) with 15% VAT and AED (pegged at 3.6725) with 5% VAT. Exchange-rate dates are shown on every pricing table.
4. Scoring: Each product receives a 0–5 GCC-fit score combining compliance posture, Arabic support, pricing transparency, and product quality.

Editorial policy & AI use

We use AI tools to assist with drafting and translation. Every article is then fact-checked and edited by a human reviewer before publication, and every compliance claim must trace back to a primary source. Articles that contain affiliate links are clearly labeled — see our affiliate disclosure.

Independence

We are not owned by, employed by, or contractually bound to any software vendor. Vendors do not review or approve our content before publication.
